I personally think what MS is doing with the hacker situation is pure genius.
720 for core gamers, looks like it would mean the resolution the console is outputting. Xbox 1080 would be more reasonable, but to be honest I kinda like the sound of that although it should be higher than 1080, lol.
"Gears of War 3's Graphics Have Just Raised the Bar"
It always has, always does, always will! But I'm not here to convince anyone, lol. See you Gears heads September!
last time I checked, mods had actually been made to were the pc version actually has multiplayer.
I remember them saying they'd have a satellite dish in the PS3 too...
@Alpha & Chad
I guess it could cause those problems--yeah it's possible. I was thinking along the lines of having a version for the "casual market", they would be the ones who wouldn't care about the specs of the NGP, while the "core" audience knows which one to pick up and devs can make the games for which ever one they choose. It's feasible to go this route and I'm surprised Sony doesn't think in this manner. Apple does it, alth...
If they do decide to downgrade, I think it should be the base model. They should have an option of actually letting people pre-order the higher spec NGPs, that way they're not making too many of the more expensive ones. I would actually place an order for a higher end model if they feel that releasing them onto store shelves with a higher price tag would scare off potential customers.
Interesting...
8 gigs of RAM? $240...and then add the price of other components that go around that RAM and you'll see the price of your new consoles, lol. Although, the console companies might be able to get the prices down through buying a sh*tload of parts, but still, customers are going to eat that cost. And I, for the most part, don't think there are many who can utilize that amount of RAM in their games so....
So the PS3 doesn't lead in worldwide sales? You people on n4g lie too much...
If anything talks, it's money.
It looks good, but it doesn't look like Gears to me personally.
I read another one of Rod's recent interviews and along with other new maps there will also be more game types. I'm crossing my fingers, hoping they bring back Submission, but I doubt they will. Capture the Leader is ok, but it's not better than having those different types of meat flags-- saying all that crazy sh*t in Submission. And also, there really wasn't any reason they should get rid of Wingman either, so hopefully that one is in there.
"Didnt they say the same thing for Crysis 2 lol"
Are you laughing at yourself for realizing that these are two different devs that made two different games?
All I watch is Hulu and guess what commercial I'm seeing every 15 minutes? You guessed it--L.A. Noire...being promoted as a PS3 exclusive, lol...no joke though.
If your favorite game was as popular as COD I'm sure it would have the same problems it has. I'm referencing your comment concerning Activision screwing people over. People have a choice in what they want to spend their money on. So why sit around on the computer complaining about what you personally think a company is doing to their fans?
That video was unbelievably hilarious!
I was just wondering because his/her's commment was somewhat odd to me, but they've explained themselves.
Before you all get excited...

"Are there people out there that think any of the names I mentioned above are cool? In the end their just names so it doesn't even matter if the product is good, but those names are far from cool."
Well, they're better than Vita...
